Award-winning singers Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus are working on their newest music releases and have just recently made Spotify history.
Miley Cyrus’ latest success Flowers has been all over TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify, and for the right reasons. The new track has made history by breaking the record for the most monthly listeners by a female artist. In addition, the Malibu singer has announced that her latest album, Endless Sumer Vacation, will drop soon.
Dua Lipa also broke the charts and made Spotify history by being the first female artist to have ever surpassed 10 billion streams on the music platform. After her last album Future Nostalgia became a global success, fans have been eagerly waiting for more music from the British-Albanian. But, according to Capital FM, fans won’t have to be patient for too long as the Pretty Please singer is already working on some new tracks.
With both of these successful female artists taking the industry by storm, fans can’t help but wonder if a new collaboration is in the works, similar to their 2020 release, Prisoner.
A Twitter post shared today is going viral, featuring Dua Lipa’s newest work Tijuana. While the award-winning artist hasn’t confirmed the launch, this isn’t the first time Dua Lipa’s music gets leaked. In 2020, her album Future Nostalgia was released ahead of time without her consent. The Levitating singer took to Instagram at that time to express her feelings and cried because of her frustration after working on something so hard and long and then having someone leak her work.
How Does Dua Lipa’s Newest Song Tijuana Sound Like?
Tijuana is a relaxing tune, inducing dreams about a long summer vacation with subtle salsa influences. Pharrell’s distinctive synth lines float in the backdrop of Dua’s sultry vocals — this song is guaranteed to be a new summer favourite.
When Is Miley Cyrus releasing Her New Album Endless Summer Vacation?
The thirty-year-old will release the full album Endless Summer Vacation on March 10 as she announced on December 31 at the second annual Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party she co-hosted with godmother Dolly Parton.
While the singer has not made an official announcement just yet, her song Tijuana leaking might make her move faster with the drop, as it did the last time in 2020 with Future Nostalgia.
So… Will Dua Lipa And Miley Cyrus Do A Collaboration?
Neither of the artists has confirmed anything just yet, but one can hope, the superstars will return with another hit like Prisoner.
