The shocking news of actor Song Jae Rim’s passing has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. Hankyung reported that he had been absent from social media for the past 41 weeks. Seoul’s Seongdong Police Department confirmed that Song Jae Rim was found deceased in his Seongdong district apartment. A friend who was supposed to meet him for lunch made the heartbreaking discovery. A two-page suicide note was discovered at the scene. Police officials stated that there was no evidence of foul play. It appears that the actor may have taken his own life.
Song Jae Rim is best known for his role as the bodyguard Kim Jae Woon in the hit historical drama “Moon Embracing the Sun”. He also gained immense popularity for his appearance on the reality show “We Got Married” alongside Kim So Eun.
