Arriving at a press conference in the picturesque coastal town on Saturday, Selena Gomez doggedly stuck to the same script by turning heads in another risqué ensemble.

The 21-year-old singer and actress opted for a striking sheer blouse, beneath which her slender frame was evident as she posed for photos on a balcony overlooking the harbour.

With bold floral leaf embellishments the tailored shirt worked well in complimenting the bold Blumarine Spring 2014 dress she opted to pair it with.

The bizarre feathered garment counterbalanced her revealing upper half, while a pair of simple white stiletto heels gave the overall look a conventional flourish.

Selena was making an appearance at Ischia’s Reginna Hotel to promote news film Rudderless, in which she stars alongside Billy Crudup, Felicity Huffman, Laurence Fishburne and William H. Macy.

Elsewhere she is believed to have had a new tattoo on her upper back – an Arabic phrase translated as ‘Love Yourself.’

Celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang McCurdy, who created the brunette beauty’s latest piece of body art, told E! News that Selena ‘had been wanting this one for a while’ and finally got it done ‘about a month ago,’ during a visit to his studio in New York City ‘with a couple of friends.’

He said: ‘Its meaning translates to Love Yourself.’

Selena already had it written out how she wanted. The tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn’t take too long, probably about 30-45 minutes.’

He added: ‘The longest part is laying it out. We played with it a bit laying it out, until we found the perfect spot.’

He added: ‘She loved it; she flipped out. When we did that one, she was talking about another one. But we haven’t talked plans just yet. There are always plans to do another one.’
